I have been hooked on fishing since I was a little boy. I can remember my Grandpa taking me fishing for Bass in Kentucky. He was a great teacher and taught me many techniques that I still apply today. I grew up in Colorado and began fly fishing, love the action from top water bites and began a guide service in Steamboat Springs. Let’s be honest, catching any fish is great but when I set the hook on my first Hybrid Bass I was ruined and have been chasing those fish ever since. There is no power like a Hybrid Bass! I have been fishing for over 40 years and there is no lake that compares to Piercy Priest. I met Daniel Brown through a friend and booked a trip for liver fishing for Hybrids. Thought he was crazy but we caught more fish that night than most people catch all year. Since that time we have fished tournaments together. He has taught me the ins and outs of Percy Priest Lake and we have shared different fishing techniques. While I love fishing itself, some of the best moments in life is the stories you share with one another while you take in the beauty of the lake and get to know people from all over the world. At the end of the day, it isn’t just about how many fish you caught but the great time you had doing it.
